Trade shows are by far the best possible venue, or opportunity for us to meet, talk and taste wines with our existing suppliers and, of course, always scouting for new interesting wines and suppliers under ”the same roof” during a couple of days. So efficient, so convenient.  Having somebody like Salmanazar there is like having a fair within a fair. You bring along with you a whole set of interesting winemakers and wines from New Zealand that we would probably otherwise never even know about. I am sure this is a two way street and that the winemakers who come with you to the fairs benefit from being there with you. They would probably not meet half as many potential customers without Salmanazar.

While I love personally  visiting estates for many reasons I  have always found trade shows to be far more efficient.  Specifically you can meet and visit far more wineries in one day. Time is a valuable commodity that you can't get back, consequently backing trade shows is far more efficient
